My Portfolio

Joseph Palmor,
My sculptures move between realism and abstract, with a tendency toward non-realistic figurative style. Human motifs, which are very important to me, exist in most of my sculptures. My profession as a mechanical engineer likely influences my work and methods.
For my creations I use a variety of materials: stone, wood, bronze, steel, and recycled materials.
My training included the guidance of the late sculptors Uri Dub and Tuvia Yuster.
My sculptures have been displayed in several solo shows as well as many group shows.
Winner of the 2009 Herman Struck Award for Art, by the city of Haifa, Israel.
Member of the Israeli Painters and Sculptors Association since 1999.
My studio is located in Kibbutz Ein Carmel, Israel.
